Memory Mondays – Nickelodeons 90’s Game Shows

Remember that funny tune that gets stuck in your head during Nickelodeon commercials. Well u will remember this now…

But that not what this post is about remember the competitive game shows is what its all about.

Legend of the Hidden Temples is an competitive game show for kids during the 90’s. The show was based on a “Temple” that is filled with lost treasures captured about a unknown voice with Mayan Temple Guards. Kirk Fogg the host creates teams while getting clues from tis unknown voice who knows the secrets behind each of the treasures in his Temple. Six teams compete is mental and physical competition sand after three elimination rounds, only one team remains. Then that team earns the chance to go through the Temple capture the artifact  and win a grand prize.

Figure It Out  by Summer Sanders,was a great way for kids to promote there new inventions or talents. To FIGURE OUT what the creativeness is their four Nick celebrities try to guess the by getting clues and a secret clue. If  the secret clue is guessed they will be slimed!

Double Dare was one of the first POPULAR children game shows. Our favorite was the messy challenges that the trivia questions led  too.Hosted by Marc Summers it was said that it put Nickelodeon on the map. Ranked #29 in TV Guide’s list of the 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time.
